Flux Explorer
Reported C and N flux intensities as teaching outputs. The ecology story is restoring iron cycling impaired by anthropogenic loss of regenerative pathways — Fe, P, Si, and ligands stay functions / drivers, never competing tonne headlines.
Iron is not optional flavouring: heme and iron–sulfur proteins drive photosynthesis, respiration, and nitrogen assimilation across ocean life. Lost regenerative Fe cycling (food-web recycle) is an ecology problem — shown here as gated C/N outcomes, never as Fe-tonne scores or credits.
Reported C + N fluxes
Fact · product lockHeadline SI: mmol CO₂ m⁻² d⁻¹ (air–sea, + into ocean) / mmol C m⁻² d⁻¹ (org C intensity) / mmol N m⁻² d⁻¹. Never credit tCO₂e. Fe/P/Si remain drivers below.

About this tool
Built for researchers and collaborators exploring how missing regenerative
nutrient fluxes reshape mixed-layer supply. Reported headlines are C and N;
Fe schematic stubs live in flux-model.js; methodology deficit balance
and Phase B C/N intensities live in engine.js / equations.js
(Soft display layer maps optional Eng fields in flux-cn-display.js).
